Once more there is very little recorded of St. Blasius at this time but the country was occupied with the Wars of the Roses, continuing war in France. Henry V's victory at Agincourt in 1415, the coming of Joan of Arc.

William Caxton established a printing press at Westminster.

During the intervening centuries the chapel of St. Blasius remained the preserve of the holders of the manor.

In 1519 the Rector was instituted separately to Bonchurch and Shanklin.



In 1549 Cranmer's Book of Common Prayer was introduced and turned England into a Protestant state.
